Dolphins TE Dustin Keller out for the season2014-Aug-14

Dolphins TE Dustin Keller out for the season

The gruesome leg injury Dustin Keller suffered on Saturday night will sideline the Miami Dolphins' starting tight end for the season, a person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports on Sunday.

Keller tore the anterior cruciate, medial collateral and posterior collateral ligaments in his Wholesale NFL Jerseys right knee, which also was dislocated, according to the person, who spoke on condition of anonymity, because the Dolphins hadn't released details. Swearinger in the second quarter of Saturday's preseason game.

After the game, Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said he didn't have a diagnosis on Keller's injury, but receiver Mike Wallace was preparing for the worst.

"It looked pretty bad, and I'm pretty sure he's going to be out for a while," Wallace said.

Keller's injury leaves third year pro Charles Clay, who has 34 career receptions for 445 yards and five touchdowns, atop the Dolphins' depth chart.

Clay has made 16 starts at fullback and only two at tight end but said he is ready to devote more time to the latter position.

"If I'm the next up, I'm going to go out Cheap Jerseys there and give it everything I've got," he said. "It's something that I feel comfortable doing, but it's something I also feel I need work on, as well."

Fourth round pick Dion Sims, who played at Michigan State, has showed promise as a blocker and has also caught the ball well in camp while adjusting to the NFL.

"It's just a lot faster," he said. "Everything else is pretty much the same. It's all football, X's and O's, but it's just faster. Everybody is good. There's a smaller margin for error."

It also could open opportunities for Michael Wholesale NFL Jerseys Egnew, unless the Dolphins explore a free agent market featuring older veterans such as Todd Heap and Randy McMichael.

Swearinger sent a tweet on behalf of the tight end, although he referred to him by the wrong name.

"Everybody pray 4 justin keller," Swearinger tweeted. DEFINITELY wasnt intentional."

Keller had hoped to parlay a big season in 2013 into a multiyear deal beginning next year. He has 17 career touchdown receptions but played in only eight games in 2012 because of hamstring and ankle injuries.

"Praying my man Dustin Keller 81 has a speedy recovery," Clay tweeted. Wholesale Jerseys "Great ball player but even better person."

Keller signed a one year, $4.25 million contract with the Dolphins in March after five seasons with the New York Cheap NFL Jerseys Jets. He hadn't missed a game until a groin injury and high ankle sprain limited him to eight last season. In 72 NFL games, Keller has 241 catches for 2,876 yards.

The Dolphins hoped he'd provide another weapon, along with a remodeled receiver corps led by Wallace, to help second year quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Instead, Keller faces a lengthy rehabilitation and another trip onto the free agent market in March.

This site is dedicated to the subject of spiritual revival

As we celebrate Christmas, let tune into this classic Chuck Colson BreakPoint commentary on the manger, and how we often forget the staggering implications of Christmas.

What image does the mention of Christmas typically conjure Authentic Ross Cockrell Jersey up? For most of us, it a babe lying in a manger while Mary and Joseph, angels, and assorted animals look on.

Heartwarming picture, but Christmas is about far more than a Child's birth even the Savior's birth. It about the Incarnation: God Himself, Creator of heaven and earth, invading planet Earth, becoming flesh and dwelling among us.

It a staggering thought. Think of it: The Word that is,Logosin the Greek, which meant all knowledge that could be known, the plan of creation that is, ultimate reality, becomes mere man? And that He was not born of an earthly king and queen, but of a virgin of a backwater village named Nazareth? Certainly God delights in confounding worldly wisdom and human expectations.

Thirty years after His humble birth, Jesus increased the Jews' befuddlement when He read from the prophet Isaiah in the synagogue at Nazareth: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor proclaim release to the captives set free those who are downtrodden Jesus then turned the scroll back and announced, "Today, this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing."

In effect, the carpenter's son had just announcedHewastheKing.

So yes, the birth of Jesus is a glorious moment, and the manger scene brings comfort and joy and Christmas cheer. But it should also inspire a holy terror in us that this baby is God incarnate, the King who came to set captives free, through His violent, bloody death on the cross as atonement for us, His unworthy subjects.

It through the Incarnation God sets His grand plan in motion. He invades planet Earth, establishing His reign through Christ's earthly ministry. Most recently, Phil Robertson, the godly patriarch of the Robertson clan on the very popular Duck Dynasty show on A E, was suspended by the network because of his anti gay comments. Soon after, the Robertson family issued statement indicating the show probably could not continue without Phil. I would hate to see the show end because it really quacks me up. I also love the show because of its focus on Christian values and family. Plus, I have guns and am a hunter!

This will not be the last battle in the culture wars in our country. Thus, it is important that those who claim to follow Jesus need to act like Jesus especially in the heat of the battle. I have been a Baptist pastor for 30 years, and I am dedicated to the Word of God which is the Bible. If the Bible http://www.officialauthenticbills.com/authentic-preston-brown-jersey.html is not true, then I have wasted my life, along with thirteen years of higher education.

There are Biblical principles that the followers of Jesus need to remember when it comes to the culture wars

We are to love all people! Jesus made this crystal clear in Matthew 22:37 38: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Our "neighbor" is everyone around us. It does not matter how different our neighbor is from us, we are to love that person. We are even to love those people who hate us: "But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Jesus in Matthew 5:44).

We are to honor everyone! 1 Peter 2:17 commands us this: "Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor." As Christians we are honor and respect our political leaders and everyone else. It does not matter if the person disagrees with us when it comes to politics, favorite sport's team (Go Huskers, Red Sox, Steelers and Blue Jays Basketball!), religion (or lack of it), sexual orientation or anything else. We are to honor and respect and love all people. This is the way of Jesus.

We are to exhibit the character of Jesus. Our country needs to see authentic Christians in action. When people think of an "evangelical Christian", they often think of someone who is angry and is against stuff. Most Christians that I know are not angry and busy signing petitions. But there are just enough angry followers of Jesus out there to give the impression that the mission of the church is to protest and fight for the rights of Christians.

That is why I am against boycotts. How many people have turned to Jesus for salvation because of a boycott that originated with Christians? I doubt any have. What should the Christian look like? Well, according to Galatians 5:22 23, Christians are to exhibit the fruit of the Spirit: "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control." In other words, we are to be like Jesus.

Now, Jesus, the most loving and joyful person who ever lived, was against sin. That is why, as the eternal son of God, he came into our world nearly 200o years ago. His God ordained mission in life was to go to the cross as the perfect Lamb of God to die for our sins and to absorb the wrath of God on our behalf. His death and resurrection broke the power of sin and death and Satan.

Yet, Jesus loved all people. Let us do the same!

My bookshelves sag with encyclopedic volumes arguing that America and the West are in decline. But proving that a picture is worth a thousand books, the "selfie" seen 'round the world ends the argument.

It's official the government of the United States of Obama consists of boobs and bores and is led by a narcissist. It is no consolation that Great Britain joins us in racing to the bottom.

President Obama's flirting with Denmark's prime minister would be shameful on any occasion. That it happened at the memorial for Nelson Mandela only adds to the embarrassment.

But the"selfie" episodealso symbolizes the greater global calamity of Western decline. With British prime minister David Cameron playing the role of Obama's giggling wingman, the "look at me" moment confirms we have unserious leaders in a dangerously serious time.

Iran marches toward nuclear weapons and already there is talk in military circles that a nuclear armed Iran could mean mushroom clouds in the Mideast within five years.

China is flexing its muscles throughout Asia, its ships brazenly confronting ours on the high seas. Russia is expanding its writ in the Arab lands and in Eastern Europe while making casual threats about bombing America. Syria's Assad uses chemical weapons and Obama and Cameron rattle little sabers before meekly agreeing to become his partner.

The sign language interpreter wasn't the only fake at the Mandela funeral. Obama and Cameron were posing as world leaders.

They will never be confused with FDR and Churchill. The fratboys stand in stark contrast to the days when the "special relationship" meant two great leaders uniting two great countries in the fight for freedom. Those leaders understood the consequences if evil prevailed and were committed to victory.

Churchill coined the term "special relationship" during World War II and used it again in his "Iron Curtain Speech" in 1946 that marked the unofficial start of the Cold War. Fearful the West would disarm again, as it did after World War I, he wanted to combat communism by maintaining the "special relationship between the British Commonwealth and Empire and the United States."

For the rest of the article Christians, we are commanded by God to pray for President Obama. Let us continue to do so.

Bucs' Freeman playing his way out2014-Aug-14

Bucs' Freeman playing his way out

Ah, yes. Nasty things, these headlines.

The fact is, there is only one thing to lead you to believe those wicked rumors that Freeman may be trying to get traded:

This is how a guy plays his way out of town. For most of Sunday's 16 14 loss to the New Orleans Saints, Freeman sputtered. He played as if his destination was not the end zone, and if it was, it wasn't this end zone.

Freeman threw the ball only 22 times, and he completed only nine passes, and when it came to the Kelvin Benjamin Kids Jersey biggest play of the game, his coach kept him safely out of the way. He threw for only 125 yards, and he had an interception, and he had a fumble while being sacked. In a game where the Bucs needed Freeman, he was pretty much a bystander.

For instance, consider the Bucs' most important play. It was third and 6 with 1:56 to play, and the Saints were on the ropes. If the Bucs picked up a first down, the Saints were toast.

And Schiano ran Doug Martin.

By now, this shouldn't surprise anyone. Schiano did the same thing against last year Atlanta (and lost), and he did the same thing last week against the Jets (and lost). This time Martin ran for 3 yards.

"That's what we thought was the best way to get the first down and keep the clock moving," Schiano said. "We felt good about the play, the way they were closing in on the run. It was a bit of a specialty play."

Oh, in the end, it wasn't that special. The Saints tackled Martin a good 3 yards shy of the first down marker.

Which brings us back to this: In the NFL, third and 6 is a passing down. Coaches who trust their quarterbacks tend to throw the ball in such situations. Yes, a Freeman incompletion would have stopped the clock, but as it was, the Saints had enough time to move the ball downfield for their winning field goal.

To http://www.panthersauthenticofficial.com/authentic-kony-ealy-jersey.html ignore Freeman in that position again suggests there isn't quite the unshakable bond between coach and quarterback that anyone would like. Granted, Freeman's play for most of the game wasn't exactly a call for the ball with the game on the line, but Freeman had just hit two of his biggest passes of the day, throws of 20 and 18 yards to Vincent Jackson.

All this, of course, was before the usual task of denying the latest headlines. At this point, you can believe it or not.

Poor Josh. This keeps happening to him. One day it's that he doesn't have a contract, and the next it's that he wasn't elected captain. The day after that it's that he overslept and missed the team photo. Then it's a players only meeting where supposedly his captaincy status was discussed. And now this.

It seems there is always a story about Freeman and his tenuous grip on the Bucs' quarterback position, and he is always denying it and insisting his relationship with Schiano is simply dandy.

At this point, you believe one of a few things. One, the Internet was created with the single purpose of making stuff up about Josh. Two, there is enough smoke to convince you something unsettling is in the relationship. Or three, you are simply weary of the drama.

On the other hand, if Internet reports kept making up things about you, wouldn't you get ticked? Wouldn't you slam down your fist and demand some answers? Wouldn't you want to know if anyone in your camp is starting these rumors?

"If it's going on, I need a new camp," Freeman said. "On game day I try to shut my phone off. It's not my job to write or to critique writing."

I know this: If Freeman really wants a trade, he should say so and simplify matters. He's a take charge guy, right? Of course, it's hard to imagine a long list of teams that are in the market for a quarterback whose offense has scored two touchdowns in two weeks, or a quarterback who just completed fewer passers than in any other of his 57 starts.

Using an Angle Grinder Safely2014-Aug-14

Using an Angle Grinder Safely

What are Angle Grinders Used For ?An angle or hand grinder is an invaluable power tool in the home workshop with a multitude of uses for DIY and crafts. As the name suggests, it can be used for grinding and cutting iron, steel and other metals, stone, plastic, metal cladding, slates and building tiles. It is also possible to cut thin plastic or even make shallow cuts in wood (this generates lots of Cyrus Kouandjio Womens Jersey smoke!). You can also use a grinder to cut up stuff for disposal in your trash. Angle grinders use a disk of abrasive material spun at a high rotational speed by an electric motor in order to perform the cutting action.

Make Your Work Environment Safe !All work environments need to be safe, but when using a power tool a trip or fall can result in a serious accident. Tools are often driven by powerful motors or engines and the business end of the machine can be an abrasive cutting disk, a blade with sharp teeth or a sharp drill bit. As the saying goes "flesh is no match for steel" and safety is paramount.

De clutter your workspace Tool boxes, scattered tools, lengths of steel and timber and power cables can cause trips and falls. Keep everything to one side where it can be accessed if needed.

Illuminate your workspace adequately Proper illumination using background lighting and a floodlight ensures that you can see what you are doing and don't have to strain your eyes. This is especially important when using goggles which can somewhat obscure vision if they become fogged or dusty. Personally I find a head torch is great as it directs a beam of light exactly where needed. Alternatively you can work outdoors if weather conditions allow it. The advantage of this is that sparks are less likely to be a hazard, illumination is better and dust and fumes tend to dissipate

Power cables and flexes Keep these behind you so they can't end up getting cut or tripping you up.

Provide adequate ventilation Grinding and cutting will produce dust and metal particles, sparks Sammy Watkins Jersey and fumes. Open doors and windows and try to direct sparks away from you.

Flammable materials Remove gasoline(petrol), diesel, gas cylinders, solvents, sawdust and other flammable materials from the work area. If this is not possible, direct sparks away from these items. Paper and oily cloths are also a fire hazard.

Rain and water Don't work during rainy weather or use a tool which has become wet without drying it thoroughly. For added safety, power the angle grinder from a socket or extension lead fitted with a GFCI (RCD) adapter.

Jewelery and loose clothing Remove jewelery and bracelets and loose clothing such as scarves and anything else which could possibly get caught up in the rotating grinder disk and shaft.

Fire extinguisher Make sure you have one of these handy in the event of fire. The extinguisher should be of the proper class. A powder extinguisher is suitable for class A, B and C fires

Wear Safety ClothingSafety clothing should be worn to protect your hearing, lungs, eyes, hands and feet from injury.

Eye protection. Safety goggles need to be worn to protect eyes from flying particles and sparks. These should be to EN166B or equivalent standard. Alternatively use a visor. The advantage of a visor is that it is less likely to fog up which often happens with goggles. also a visor provides full face protection. Gloves will give protection from sharp, hot or flying pieces of waste metal

Breathing protection. Use a suitable dust mask to protect against fumes and dust particles. This should seal properly around the face.

Footwear. Wear steel toe cap shoes or boots with good grips. If you are working with heavy items which could drop when cut up, this will protect your toes.

Overalls and Leather Apron. These protect clothes from sparks. Watch out for sparks falling into pockets or turnups.

Inspect The Grinder Before UseAn angle grinder like any power tool should be maintained in good condition and given a quick inspection before use. Check out the following:

Flex and Plug. The flex should be securely attached to the tool and plug. Exposed cores in the flex at these points should be sorted by rewiring the plug or grinder. Damaged flexes should be replaced.

Check the Guard. The guard on an angle grinder is an essential component which should be in place at all times. It protects the user from sparks thrown upwards and backwards and also takes the impact if the disk shatters by deflecting chunks of material downwards. It also may give some protection for your face if the grinder falls back against you while grinding overhead. The guard should be adjusted to the correct angle, giving maximum protection by deflecting sparks and disk fragments towards the ground. with the body of the tool held vertically, the guard can be adjusted to suit. Usually it is only necessary to loosen screws or a bolt, twist the guard and re tighten the fastener.

Side Handle. This should be tightly screwed into the tool.

What About Disks ?Use the proper disk for the job and check it for any cracks, missing chunks or other defects. Never use a damaged disk which could potentially shatter and throw out fragments at high velocity. Disks are broadly divided into cutting and grinding disks. Cutting disks are used for cutting and should never be used for grinding as they are thin and not designed to withstand the side pressure unlike disks used for grinding. They can therefore over flex and shatter. Disks should never be used at a rotational speed greater than they were designed for. This means that you shouldn't use a worn down 9 inch disk on for example a 4 1/2 inch grinder.

If you are fitting a depressed center disk on a grinder, the "hollow" should be facing outwards.

I only learned this recently but disks have a best before date. Presumably this is due to moisture softening the binding resin and weakening the disk. Disks should be kept in a cool dry place.

If cutting stainless steel, disks made from hard abrasive can be used which won't wear away as quickly. Thinner disks are available for cutting metal sheeting such as roof cladding. Diamond abrasive disks can be used for cutting brick, stone, concrete, slate and roof tiles.

Wire brushes are available for cleaning and removing rust and paint from wood and metal. These can fling out steel bristles so you need to wear eye protection.

You can also use sanding disks. These attach to a rubber/plastic pad fitted to the grinder. A sanding pad can get into spaces inaccessible to an orbital or belt sander.

Angle grinders are commonly available in 4 1/2", 5", 6" and 9" sizes. Air powered grinders are also available.

Power of new Phillies' TV contract2014-Aug-14

Power of new Phillies' TV contract

IF THE World Series goes the distance, with the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals needing a seventh game to decide a champion, Major League Baseball's free agents may file paperwork a week from today, on Friday, Nov. 1.

After sitting out their second straight postseason, the Phillies could be major players in the free agent market in an attempt to reclaim their former status as a National League power. One development that could go a long way in helping the Phillies is the massive influx of cash that will come their way when they agree to a new TV contract.

If that's the case, at baseball's Winter Meetings in December, Ruben Amaro Jr. and Co. could strut around inside Walt Disney's Swan and Dolphin resort with a sack of money that would make Scrooge McDuck blush.

The implications of a new television deal http://www.officialauthenticsaints.com/authentic-ronald-powell-jersey.html cannot be overstated. When a new deal is signed the team's current deal with Comcast SportsNet expires after the 2015 season the Phillies will be one of the richest teams in baseball. It's not out of the realm of possibility that a new deal could be six times as large.

And it's highly probable that a deal would be in the neighborhood north of $150 million annually.

How so? Consider the market.

In 2014, the Los Angeles Dodgers will begin a 25 year TV deal with Time Warner that will pay them approximately $320 million annually. Of course, Los Angeles is the nation's second largest TV market, with more than 5.6 million TV homes, according to data from the Nielsen Co.

According to Nielsen, Philadelphia is fourth, behind New York, LA and Chicago, with more than Tavon Rooks Kids Jersey 2.96 million TV homes. But unlike the three cities above them Philadelphia is home to only one major league baseball team.

The Texas Rangers might be somewhat comparable to the Phillies, as they are home to the fifth largest TV market in the country. Three years ago, the Rangers signed a 20 year TV contract with Fox Sports Southwest that nets the team $150 million annually. The Los Angeles Angels also make $150 million annually from their local TV deal.

While using other teams and markets as examples isn't a bad route for comparison's sake, predicting the value of the contract the Phillies eventually will sign is nothing more than guesswork. Regardless, the Phillies will be the latest team to benefit from the booming business that is local TV rights for baseball teams.

In April 2012, Forbes had Dodgers All Star Matt Kemp on the cover in a suit and tie with the headline, "The New Moneyball," calling local TV sports rights the "hottest media property in America."

In the age of the DVR, on demand services and companies such as Netflix, fewer people watch regular TV programming live. One of the results is the ability in some instances for the viewer to skip through commercials, which is not good news for a network's ability to yield money from advertisers.

Sports programming, however, is the exception. People watch games live and, yes, with commercials.

And major league baseball is especially unique since each team airs 162 games a year during a 6 month season in which a game is on nearly every night of the week. In sports crazed markets such as Philadelphia, people obviously tune in to many of those games.

While suffering through their first losing season since 2002, the Phillies saw their ratings drop 39.4 percent this season. It was the second straight season the Phillies' ratings dipped by close to 40 percent, although they still ranked seventh in baseball in 2012.

In 2011, however, Comcast SportsNet and the Phillies were atop the baseball world in local regional sports network ratings.

Of course, putting a winning product on the field helps, because it's also a watchable product.

But the catch works the other way, too. With more spending money, teams have a better chance to build a winning roster.

While spending the most money doesn't always guarantee success see the free spending Los Angeles Angels, for example it's not a coincidence that three of the four teams left standing in baseball's playoffs ranked in the top five in payroll. The St. Louis Cardinals, meanwhile, were just outside the top 10, at 11th among Major League Baseball's 30 teams.

Despite finishing with the seventh worst record in baseball, the Phillies had the third highest Opening Day payroll in 2013. Although a team still needs to spend its money wisely, having that money to spend is still more advantageous than not having it in the first place.

In the very near future, the Phillies should have a heck of a lot more to spend when their new TV deal is completed.

Philadelphia based Comcast would benefit from striking a deal in the short run, before the current contract expires, because that would allow it to avoid competition for the Phillies' broadcasts.
